• What can I clean in the OroSonic? +

  OroSonic is designed for most everyday dental appliances, including clear aligners, metal or plastic retainers, dentures, night guards and sports mouthguards. You can also use it for small items like toothbrush heads or jewellery, as long as they fit comfortably inside the stainless steel tank.

• Do I need special cleaning tablets or solutions? +

  No special solution is required. Water alone is enough for effective ultrasonic cleaning. For extra freshness, you can add a drop of mild dish soap or a dedicated cleaning tablet if you prefer. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, as they can damage your appliance over time.

• Will the UV-C light damage my retainer or aligners? +

  No. The UV-C LEDs in OroSonic are designed for safe use on dental appliances. They only activate when the lid is closed and target germs on the surface of your appliance. Used as directed, they won’t melt, warp or discolour your retainers or aligners.

• How is OroSonic better than brushing or soaking? +

  Brushing can scratch clear plastic and still miss bacteria in tight crevices. Simple soaking often only loosens surface debris. OroSonic uses 48kHz ultrasonic waves to deep-clean those hard-to-reach areas, while UV-C light helps sanitise the surface of your appliance, giving you a more thorough clean with less effort.

• Will my appliance fit inside OroSonic? +

  The stainless steel tank is sized to fit most standard retainers, clear aligners, mouthguards and many dentures. As a general guide, if your appliance is similar in size to a typical retainer or aligner tray, it will fit comfortably. For larger dentures or devices, compare their size to the tank dimensions listed in the product specs.

• How often should I use OroSonic? +

  For best results, we recommend a quick 5-minute clean once a day, ideally after you’ve finished wearing your appliance. Use the 10-minute deep clean mode whenever there’s heavier buildup or staining.

• What power source does OroSonic use? +

  OroSonic runs on a safe, low-voltage power supply using the included adapter. Simply plug it into a standard wall outlet and you’re ready to clean.
